  • Very, very cool pictures Zach! I can't wait for tonight!!!!!!!!! I'll have to make sure I get all my homework done...I don't want to miss a second of it!!!!!!

By Blogger Sara, at 4:21 PM

  • Thanks, Sara. I can hardly wait for the premiere!!!

By Blogger MVB, at 5:29 PM

  • Did you like the premiere Zach? I was totally surprised at what was down in the hatch- but now I'm pretty mad a Locke for using Kate to do his dirty work. :( I really liked it though, although there were some really creepy parts!

By Blogger Sara, at 8:13 PM

  • Yeah, it was really good. Mercy is still talking about the "boy who was wet" that Shannon saw in the forest. I'm so glad that we saw what was in the hatch, though! I actually didn't really mind Locke in this episode, Kate switched allegiances so whatever happen to her, it's her own fault. That hairy guy who had a gun to Locke is really weird...

By Blogger MVB, at 9:54 PM

  • Oh, I don't think Jate switched her allegiance, but Locke definitely was using her, just like he used Boone. Mercy watches the show???? That scene with Walt was scary!!!!

By Blogger Sara, at 1:03 PM

  • Oops, I meant Kate; I think that was a mix between Jack and Kate :D

By Blogger Sara, at 1:04 PM

  • Oh, by the way Zach, I know this has nothing to do with LOST, but I need some suggestions with my blogs. I am getting bored with them, and don't know what to post on the LOTR site and No Greater Love. No one is visiting either, especially my newest site. :(
    HELP!

By Blogger Sara, at 1:06 PM

  • Is there anything besides LOST to talk about?

If you like those shows so much, might I recommend a show that a friend of mine is in? It's coming out this month and its called "The Pastor Greg Show." It's probably one of the few decent programs on Cornerstone...Thursdats at 8 EST :P

By Blogger David Ketter, at 2:55 PM

  • Sara,

Yeah, Mercy watches the show and loves it. How did you like last night's episode? It was really cool, I thought, next week's episode looks cool too, we get to meet the new character, Ann-Lucia.

Hmmmm.... Let's see... On "The Grey Havens" you could talk about: the LOTR actors, The Hobbit ( if that ever comes out), you could get more LOTR quizzes/ polls from the Internet ( just search " blog quizzes", you could post chapters of the books and we could discuss them, you know, like their theological meanings, character portrayals, etc...

On " No Greater Love" you could post: Bible chapters or verses to discuss, theological arguments, you could start a thread on anything really that has something to do with religion or the Bible or an experience you or your readers have had. I'll keep thinking and maybe come up with something else.

    Ketter,

I'm sorry we are boring you with LOST, but it is a really interesting and mysterious show, and there is a lot to talk about concerning it. I'll look for the show you mentioned, and try to start threads on more interesting subjects. :)

By Blogger MVB, at 3:52 PM

  • Thanks Zach! When I have time, I'll do some work on my blogs. :) I really liked the show on Wednesday- it was so cool seeing what was going on through each character's perspective.

Lost is a very interesting topic Zach! Ok, sorry that I get so carried away with it David, but it is a really good show! And besides some of the junk they put in Lost- which can be easily turned off and is not always in it- there is only some language. Even my parents love the show!

By Blogger Sara, at 4:23 PM

  • Yeah, it was cool seeing it again from Locke's perspective. Sara, if you look closely while watching the episode you can see small clues. Like, on the drug Desmond injected himself with, was Hurley's "bad numbers." The numbers were on the shirts of the row of girls at the airport in one scene, too. Did you see the logo on the shark's tail ( the one which attacked Sawyer and Michael)? It was also on the wall down the hatch and on some of the food. And Walter's message to Shannon played backwards says something about not pressing a button. These are hints Ashley read in some magazine.

By Blogger MVB, at 9:02 PM

  • Oh really? I'll have to go back and watch those scenes again. But wait, how would someone know what Walt was saying backwards?

By Blogger Sara, at 10:12 PM

  • Well Sara, there are a lot of obssessed fans, like us, who tape the show, like me, and mess around with it trying to pick up clues. And I guess, when Walt spoke to Shannon in the forest he said some jibberish and someone played it backwards at home ( somehow) and heard it. There are a lot of obssessed fans.

Do you think the people Jin called "the others" are really the others or are they island natives? Because the " others" who captured Walt were fisherman with guns.

By Blogger MVB, at 11:01 AM

  • I'm thinking that the "others" Jin called could possibly be other plane crash survivors, because at the very end when they were showing what was going to be on this week, they showed Ana-Lucia.

By Blogger Sara, at 7:01 PM

  • Yeah, but Ann-Lucia was captured by them. They looked more like natives, they didn't have guns, they were primitively dressed, etc.. They didn't look at all like the "others" on the boat who captured Walt. Well, maybe we'll find out tonight.

By Blogger MVB, at 11:08 AM

  • Well, that episode was kind of disappointing, since Desmond didn't know anything. And the video they watched didn't explain that much either. I wish Jack hadn't pressed that button so we could have seen what would happen.

The "others" as Jin called them, might just be other people stranded on the island. They were dressed normally, both men and women....

By Blogger MVB, at 2:40 PM

  • I'm still thinking they're from the plane- except for "Shaft" (lol:)

By Blogger Sara, at 10:18 PM

  • Maybe.... Well tonight is the new episode! The TV Guide says that Jin, Sawyer, and Michael learn who their captors are so we'll know tonight.

By Blogger MVB, at 9:57 AM

  • Did you like the episode last night? I was disappointed with it...they didn't reveal anything new about the hatch!

By Blogger Sara, at 11:10 PM

  • I saw LOST last week for the first time and I was completely lost. :)I am not joking.

By Anonymous Sara, at 12:27 PM

  • Sara E, you have to see the whole season to understand what was going on! Summed up, a group of people, crashed on this island ( airplane crash) and are trying to figure out what is going on. I would try to explain it to you but it would take to long. Maybe if you went to Ashley's site and read the LOST thread you might understand better. Did you REALLY watch it?

Sara H, yeah, it was a little disappointing because we didn't learn anything about the hatch, but it was cool that they found Rose's husband Bernard.

By Blogger MVB, at 3:54 PM

  • "Did you REALLY watch it?"

That's nice, you don't believe. I'll remember that. Last week I stayed up later than other nights and there was nothing else on. So I saw LOST. I missed a little bit in the beginning, but I saw the rest. It was weird! My parents saw it too and thought the same thing. So did my brother.

By Anonymous Sara, at 11:55 AM

  • I forgot to include this to the last comment. :)I don't have time to read the LOST thread on Ashley's blog. I don't even have time to read much of my book. I probably would still not understand the show.

By Anonymous Sara, at 12:00 PM

  • Well, you really can't jump into it, especially now. It's getting kinda weird too, so maybe you would understand it better if you watched it from the beginning of Season 1.

By Blogger Sara, at 11:00 PM

  • :) Yeah, Sara H, you're right, if you jump into the show now, it'll seem weird. But to us loyal fans, it isn't as weird.

By Blogger MVB, at 10:35 AM

  • Zach, wasn't that dream Hurley had REALLY weird????

By Blogger Sara, at 1:21 PM

  • The one with Jin and Hurley's boss who was dressed up in a duck suit? Yeah, that was weird. Two episodes in a row have told us nothing, maybe tonight we'll get more answers...

By Blogger MVB, at 11:05 AM

  • That's what I keep sayig every week. Actually, I think tonight's episode will be more interesting because Jin and Sawyer are going to lead Ana-Lucia and the others to Jack and everyone else. Also, Sun loses her ring too! Poor Sun...

By Blogger Sara, at 5:08 PM

  • Ahhh!!!!!! I am so upset with this show I could scream! It looks like they're taking another cast member off!!!! If they do I am going to be so infuriated- especially if it's Charlie or someone important. Well, I don't really care about Shannon, so if they take someone off the show, I wouldn't particularly care if it were her. And they won't show another NEW show until 3 WEEKS!!!!!!!!!! What is up with that??????
Tonight's show was ok, and the scene with the "Others" walking along was creepy, but this show is getting on my nerves!!! The second season doesn't have that "feel" that the first season had.
And they better not kill anyone off. :( Sorry, I had to fume about that.

By Blogger Sara, at 11:33 PM

  • This show is getting to be so annoying!!!! For the second week in a row we haven't learned anything and haven't even seen the hatch! All we learned in last episode were the others' mysterious feet. Big deal. And now we have to watch three weeks worth of re-runs!

According to the TV Guide, a major female character will die before the holidays. So, it could be Kate, Sun, Shannon, or Claire. I think it will be Claire or Shannon, because there isn't much story to be told with their lives. Kate and Sun are too interesting.

    Ok some clues:

When Locke and Jack watched the video down in the hatch certain parts were jumpy and messed up. The TV Guide says that it was Desmond who took out parts of the video. I don't know why he would do that..... Maybe it told some big secret he didn't want anyone to know about.

The producers of the show ( in an interview with TV Guide) said that they purposely never alluded to a date, they said the viewers just automatically think this is all taking place in present times, but it might not.... ( Although in one seen Sawyer was reading a book, A Ripple in Time, which is a newer novel...)

In Jack's flashbacks, when he saved that women's life ( the one he eventually married) there was another guy on a stretcher in the same room who Jack couldn't take care of. That guy eventually died. Well, according to the all-knowing TV Guide that guy was Shannon's father. :)

The TV Guide says the good news is that Rose and Bernard ( her husband) do eventually meet again. And the bad news is that a major female character dies before the holidays....

  • NO, NO, NO!!! They can't kill Claire!!!! They can kill off Shannon because she's annoying, but not Claire!!!! If they do that, I'll never watch the show again!
Did you have to wait for 3 weeks when they were airing Season 1?
Those sneak peaks from TV Guide are interesting...although I think LOST is happening around our relevant time, and definitely in the 21st century. The reason I think this is because Sawyer accused Sayid of being a terrorist on the plane, and that sounds like a 9/11 thing to me.
I can't believe they're killing someone off though, but I don't think it's either Claire or Kate to tell the truth. I think it would be either Sun or Shannon. (I'm really hoping Shannon though; not that I WANT her to die. If I had a choice, I would pick Shannon though. *Sigh* this show is really starting to irk me!!!
