Blog of the Year

Well, this year is coming to a close, and I was thinking what a great year it has been. A great year personally and spiritually for me and my family, and a great year of blogging here in our circle of Christians, homeschoolers, friends, etc... So to honor such a great year, I am going to give away the title of Blog of the Year. In a couple of days, I will reveal the candidates, those who have done an extraordinary job of blogging, holding his or her reader's attention, and all around being fun and intellectual. Then during the course of the following week, you all will vote ( if you want). You can only vote once and never for yourself. Just post your choice for Blog of the Year on the candidate's thread and once the voting is done, I will tally the votes and reveal the winner. ( In case of a tie, well, I will decide.) The winner will hold the title of blog of the year, till this time next year.

You are all welcome to vote ( even you spammers :) and I really hope you do. If you have any questions just ask, I am currently putting together the list of candidates.

  • Wow! It's the end of your year? Our new year isn't until January.

  • Ha-ha-ha Very funny. I said the year was "coming to a close" anyway.

Thanks, Ashley, I'll have the list of candidates up as soon as possible.

  • Looking forward to seeing the list. You better make a rule that one can't vote for themselves...or nearly everyone will be tied. :)

  • Oops, that post was from David of the Account...Blogger isn't working right at the moment...

  • Zach, you said that we are to vote once. Are you saying that some of us are voting more than once on your blog poll. :)

  • Neat idea, Zach!

I know exactly who I'm voting for...:)

  • The votes will be like a poll, right? It would definetly be a good idea to be able to vote anonymous so we don't make someone mad. Great Idea!

  • Ummmm... Well, the voting will be on a " vote here" thread, not like a poll, if you want you can post as Anonymous, I just want to make sure no one votes twice or votes for themselves. See, if I did it in poll form I couldn't be sure nobody voted twice. Yes Sara, I know you and me vote several times on the "World Series" poll, but that's what I want to avoid, multiple voting. So everyone will cast their one vote on the thread titled "vote here" and when the week is up, I will tally the vote and announce the winner. I hope this isn't to confusing... :)

I better make sure your picks are on the list, when I chose the candidates we can review the list for a couple days, you tell me who I missed, and I'll put them on. When we are sure the list is complete, I'll post the "vote here" thread and the voting will begin. I don't want to insult anyone by not putting them on the list.

I'll explain the rules more in my upcoming thread.

  • I know who I'm voting for...and it's not me :D
